Working with Stoughton Pre-School

Westborough Pre-School works in partnership with Stoughton Pre-School to provide a comprehensive and integrated childcare experience for children and their parents. The Pre-Schools are extremely close, around 5 minutes walk from each other, directly through Stoughton Recreation Ground.

Attendance Flexibility
The key advantage of managing two pre-schools so close together is that we can offer far more choice and flexibility in attendance patterns. Stoughton Pre-School currently operates 3 full days on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and morning only sessions on the remaining days of the week. If parents would like different attendance patterns to the sessions available at Westborough Pre-School (or vice versa), or would like to access their 15 hours of Free Entitlement across different days and in a different way, we can offer you this flexibility through the option of splitting time across the two settings.

Other advantages to working with Stoughton Pre-School include:
 

• we can share and rotate equipment and resources between the Pre-Schools to ensure that children remain engaged with what we offer;
• we can share staff experience across the Pre-Schools to enable continuous improvement;
• we can work together across the Pre-Schools to have joined up community activities and fundraising events;
• we can use Stoughton Pre-School and the park on which it is located for special events such as our annual sports day.
